Ian Parker Band
Ian Parker formed Parkers Alibi in 1999 along with Chris Lomas, Tony Bayliss and Morg Morgan. The band became regulars on the European and UK blues club circuits before disbanding in early 2002. Later that year, he formed "The Ian Parker Band" comprising Parker, Morgan, Amadeo on bass and Andy Edwards on drums (later replaced by Wayne Proctor).[1]
In 2003, he signed to Ruf Records which made him known in the United States as well as Europe following a recommendation from Walter Trout who then took him on a European tour.[4][1] He has also played with Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, and Peter Green.[5] The majority of Parker's music and lyrics are self composed with an original style.[6] Andy Snipper of Music News considered that Parker " ... may be the great lost British soul singer".[6] He has had long tours of Europe and the United States, such as the "Unique and Intimate Tour" in 2009/10 which included a set at the Bayfront Festival in Duluth, Minnesota.[7][8]
In March 2004, he appeared on the German live music TV show, Rockpalast, and a live DVD of his performance was released in June 2005, entitled Whilst The Wind (Ruf3007).[9]

Danielle Cawdell
Danielle Cawdell is a pianist and singer songwriter based in Stourbridge, UK. Her music is uncomfortably beautiful piano ballads peppered with riot grrrl guitar and ethereal sounds, led by her unapologetic vocals telling hard truths.
Following her debut album ‘Silence set me free’, she has joined forces with local producer and singer songwriter Louie Bennett (The Shaded Squares) to release her second album ‘Wake up’. Wake up tells stories of moving on and rising out of difficulty and struggle.

Next Level Folk
Next Level Folk presents a special triple-bill show highlighting the musical wizardry of three of our most accomplished local acoustic guitarists, live at the legendary Katie Fitzgerald's.
Nick Evans is a widely respected guitarist and performer who many will know from the New Crystal Folk Club in Halesowen, which he co-runs. He has toured folk clubs extensively over the decades and is often in demand to dep with other groups. His fingerstyle playing and popular song choices make him an entertaining act.
Gerry Riley has been playing guitar for more than 50 years and still maintains an hour a day minimum rehearsal time, in a never ending quest to improve technique. During the 1970s, whilst also fronting seminal heavy metal band Hamburger Mary, Gerry played solo acoustic sets at town halls across the country, opening for top acts including Gary Moore, John Renbourn, and Johnny Thunder and The Heartbreakers. For the next two decades, Gerry toured folk clubs across the land, and during the nineties took centre stage at Brecon Jazz Festival, Notts Americana, and The Bulldog Bash, with blues/rock outfit Sticky Liquor. After his wife Pauline contracted cancer, Gerry stopped everything for nearly twenty years to devote his time to caring for her. She passed away almost five years ago, and before she died she told Gerry, "Don't give up on your music." To that end Gerry has been playing out once more, and is now ready to stun audiences with his guitar wizardry, biting blues, and stunning instrumentals, mixed with self penned material.
Sean Griffin draws inspiration from blues, country, rock and metal music to take his guitar playing to new realms. Respected locally as a "guitar players' guitar player", Sean's out-of-the-box playing, rhythmicity and dexterity raise eyebrows wherever he plays. He is an accomplished songwriter with a smokey blues voice, and is adept at putting his own spin on (often unexpected) classic tracks. You'd have to go a long way to watch a more interesting and entertaining guitar player.
Doors at 4:30pm for a 5pm start at Katie Fitzgerald's, Stourbridge.
