SoAaR are delighted to finally welcome THE LEYLINES back to Katie Fitzgerald's in Stourbridge on Saturday 5th October 2024 as part of their DREAMLAND TOUR '24.
Heart-Pounding Revelry A high-energy folk rock band from the West Country, The Leylines mix raucous violin dynamic quitar riffs and acerbic lyrics. All of which culminates in a whirlwind show that will get heart, and mind, pounding. The band have a reputation of playing rowdy, high-energy shows, and with their infectious feel-good tunes, The Leylines are firm favourites of the festival and independent venue circuit.

Last year, after 20 years of stand up, I did Britain’s Got Talent.
People asked me, “why now?”
Up till that point I’d been very happy avoiding TV & fame - and in that sense, I’d been hugely successful!
However, the year before, I’d also had a stroke and lost half my eyesight. I was now keen to talk about my experience, comedically, to as wide an audience as possible. I did quite well, got to the semi-finals and had my 15 minutes of fame.
Careful what you wish for!
NIPPER THOMAS
Nipper Thomas has been a stand-up comic for nearly 50 years.
He appeared on BBC's Opportunity Knocks and, more recently in 2019, won the prestigious Silver Stand Up Award at Leicester Comedy Festival.
Come and join him for this special extended solo show at Katie Fitzgerald's as he seeks to prove that he's still got it.

Reg’s clever and imaginative lyrics have earned him the title of “Master Storyteller” (PennyBlack Music) and led Mike Harding (Mike Harding Folk Show) to introduce him onto the stage of The Royal Albert Hall as “one of the finest singer-songwriters this country has produced”. Whether it’s a village hall or the Albert Hall, Reg brings to the stage a collection of extremely beautiful songs, performed with humour and depth, and sung with the voice of an angel. Reg has that rare gift of being able to touch people, through his songs and performance, on a really human level. His words and music paint pictures that remain with the listener long after the song has been sung.

Totally Blondie have rapidly gained a reputation as the best Blondie tribute band in the UK!
Blondie were one of the most iconic bands of the 70’s & 80’s, with posters of Debbie Harry adorning most teenagers’ walls, and they’ve continued turning out hits and great music right up to 2017’s Pollinator album. People of all ages, not just hardcore fans, know and love songs like Hanging On The Telephone, One Way Or Another, Call Me, Atomic, Heart Of Glass, Sunday Girl, Denis and all the other famous chart-toppers. And Totally Blondie make sure these fantastic tunes sound as fresh and exciting today as they did back then.

Since winning Acoustic Magazine's singer/songwriter of the year back in 2010 he has spent his time on the road, building a strong and loyal following all over the UK and beyond.
He was the first independent musician to sell out Bristol's, The Fleece, (450 cap), and The Bierkeller, (750 cap), and SWX, (1000 cap).
Gaz has an impressive back catalogue of nine studio albums. The latest of which, Morning Walking Club, went straight in at #1 in the Official UK Folk Album Charts, #3 in the Official UK Indie Breaker Charts, #6 in the Official UK Download Charts, #10 in the Official UK Indie Album Charts, and even #37 in the Official UK Album Sales Charts.
Not a bad result for this fiercely independent musician, with no record label, no manager, and no agent - just a guitar, a van, and a steadfastly belligerent refusal to give in.

In 2023 Fred Zeppelin have reached 30 years together.
30 Years Gone....
During their time together the band are honoured that Led Zeppelin’s front-man, Robert Plant, has attended several of their gigs and John Bonham’s son, Jason, even jammed with them on stage. It must surely also be the best recommendation any band could receive and assure Led Zeppelin fans apprehensive about
seeing The Fredz.

So join us in our very own Graveyard of Evil and raise the spirits if you dare………. No one does Halloween quite like Katie's and this is going to be a party to remember.
