Friday 12th May / Saturday 13th May

KATIESFEST is Katie’s annual May Music Festival, which has now been going for around 17 years. It has grown year on year and changed a lot over the years, then last year the whole day was co organised by our own Jess Silk and was, we believe, the greatest one ever. It is still growing and this year Jess has put together an absolutely fantastic weekend of music and we’ve added some great food, the very best selection of drinks and a few extra surprises for you. We’re really looking forward to this one.

Sleep in Motion
Friday 19th May
Sleep in Motion released their debut EP in February 2022 and peaked at number 7 in the iTunes Alternative chart. Now, members Ryan Brooks, Alex Smith and Lewis Brade have been hard at work writing and producing the debut album expected Autumn 2023. Their brand new EP Separate is out January 27th.
Sleep in Motion was formed in November 2021 by original members Alex Smith, Ryan Brooks and John Alexander. After a brief time on Bass, Alexander left and Lewis Brade joined on bass and became the glue between Smith's energetic rhythms and Brooks's furious vocals and screaming guitar riffs. Inspired by the Seattle grunge movement of the early nineties, Brooks, Smith and Brade together create a mixture of nostalgia and energy that cannot be ignored.
Sleep in Motion will be touring the UK in 2023. Stay updated with where the band will be visiting here and below on the social media pages.

The New Bushbury Mountain daredevils
Early Bird £12.50
It was 30 years ago that the New Bushbury Mountain daredevils first banged the drum in a never ending tour of busking madness that carried them from the streets of Chester to Cologne, Rotterdam, through the echoing canyons of Antwerp to the beauty of Florence and Venezia. From that resounding street sound grew a band that conquered the UK folk scene, appearing at a myriad of Festivals including Cambridge and Cropredy.
Following on from last years 30th anniversary show we will be performing a range of songs from various albums alongside all the the well known favourites.
